GladiusRO Server Rules & Code of Conduct

Welcome to GladiusRO. To ensure a stable, fair, and welcoming environment for all players, we strictly enforce the following rules. By creating an account and playing on GladiusRO, you agree to abide by these guidelines.

1. General Conduct and Chat Rules

• Respect All Players and Staff: Harassment, hate speech, racism, sexism, and extreme toxicity will not be tolerated. Treat your fellow adventurers with respect.

• No Impersonation: Pretending to be a Game Master (GM), Administrator, or another player to deceive others is strictly prohibited and will result in an immediate permanent ban.

• No Spamming: Do not flood main chats, trade chats, or use repetitive broadcasting that disrupts communication for other players.

• English in Main Channels: While we are an international community, please keep global and main trade channels in English so everyone can understand. (Local or guild chats may use any language).

2. Gameplay and Client Modifications

• No Botting or Macros: The use of third-party programs, auto-clickers, macro hardware/software, or scripts to automate gameplay, farming, or leveling is strictly forbidden.

• No Client Modifications: Editing the game client to gain an unfair advantage (e.g., no-delay hexing, sprite editing to make monsters larger/visible through walls, or zooming hacks) is a bannable offense.

• No Dual-Client Abuse: While playing on multiple accounts simultaneously may be permitted for self-buffing or trading, utilizing dual clients to abuse instance cooldowns, manipulate PvP/WoE rankings, or bypass event restrictions is prohibited.

3. In-Game Behavior

• No Kill Stealing (KSing): Do not attack a normal monster that is currently engaged by another player. Exception: MVPs (Boss monsters) are considered Free-For-All (FFA) on all maps.

• No Mob Dropping (Griefing): Gathering a large group of monsters and intentionally dropping them on another player to cause their death is forbidden.

• No Unattended AFK Farming: You must be physically at your keyboard while your character is engaged in combat. Relying on auto-attacking homunculi, reflect-damage gear, or summons while away from your computer is not allowed.

• Town Disruptions: The use of Dead Branches, Bloody Branches, or spamming visually disruptive skills in major towns or near NPC hubs is prohibited.

4. Economy and Account Security

• No Real Money Trading (RMT): Buying or selling in-game items, Zeny, or accounts for real-world currency is strictly illegal. Both the buyer and the seller will be permanently banned.

• Scamming is Prohibited: Any form of deception to steal items or Zeny from another player will result in a ban. This includes vending scams (e.g., selling a cheap item for an exorbitant price disguised as a rare item).

• Account Sharing: Sharing your account information is done at your own risk. The administrative staff will not restore items, characters, or Zeny lost due to account sharing.

5. Bug Exploitation

• Report, Do Not Exploit: If you discover a bug, glitch, or an unintentional feature, you must report it to the staff immediately via the Service Desk or Discord. Abusing an exploit for personal gain will result in account termination.

6. Donations and Virtual Items

• Voluntary Support: All monetary transactions made to GLADIUSRO are strictly considered donations to help maintain server costs, hosting, and development. You are not purchasing goods or services.

• No Refunds: Because these are voluntary donations, they are 100% non-refundable. Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute through PayPal or your bank will result in an immediate, permanent ban of all associated accounts.

• Donation Rewards: As a token of gratitude, donors may receive virtual points. These rewards have no real-world monetary value and cannot be exchanged back into real currency.

7. Server Uptime and Data

• Service Availability: While we strive for 24/7 uptime, GLADIUSRO does not guarantee uninterrupted access to the server. Downtime for maintenance, updates, or unexpected crashes may occur.

• Data Loss: In the rare event of critical server failure, rollbacks may be necessary. The administration is not responsible for any lost progress, items, or Zeny during a rollback.

8. Enforcement and Penalties

• Administrative Discretion: The Game Masters and Administrators reserve the right to mute, kick, jail, or ban any player at their sole discretion if they believe the player is harming the server or its community, even if the specific behavior is not explicitly outlined in this document.
